When a middle-aged nun recalls the grisly details of an unsolved murder she witnessed as a child, Special Homicide Investigation Team member JP Beaumont is assigned to the case. Beaumont soon discovers that a band of highly placed co-conspirators are willing to go to any lengths to keep their deadly secrets under wraps. Meanwhile, with a custody dispute looming, Beau's former partner, Ron Peters, is the prime suspect when his ex-wife is viciously gunned down outside her low-rent apartment.
