Habakkuk's warning to Judah, Zephaniah's prophecy of the coming punishment, and Haggai's affirmation of Jehovah's blessing are collected in this audio. Habakkuk contains the prophecy meant to warn Judah of its coming judgment at the hands of Chaldea's ultimate destruction as well as a magnificent religious lyric which reminisces on Israel's past. Zephaniah's prophecy sets forth the meaning of the Day of the Lord with all its punishment to Judah, the world powers, and the ungodly. The Day of the Lord is depicted as an overwhelming disaster, with the Lord sparing only a holy remnant which will finally enjoy peace. Haggai writes about the four-fold purpose of his prophecy: to motivate the people to resume building the Temple; to console the people that Jehovah was still with them and wished to dwell in the Temple; to affirm Jehovah's blessing upon them; and it anticipates the glorious future that lies ahead. The complete King James Version of the Old Testament is available from Audible at 25% savings.
