The older I get, the more I find all I'm really interested in doing is talking, laughing, and eating - not necessarily in that order, but always those three things. Over and over again.
The one thing that didn't make this list was cooking. I love food (truly and passionately) and food always tastes better with friends, and especially when cooked by friends. So, I thought it was finally time to spill the beans and share the recipes. As you'll hear, sometimes the best recipes are the ones with the fewest ingredients. Take Pig Candy, for example. Bacon and brown sugar when baked together are a magical combination. Trust me, one bite and the whole batch will be history.
So, recording this audiobook was a dream come true. I got hours on end dedicated simply to talking about food and telling stories about my best friends. I had to stop recording a few times when the laughing got out of control, and I hope you'll be laughing along in your kitchen or car.
As for financial planning, a word of advice, you can't afford not to buy this audiobook. It's one of the best investments you can make. Beyond that, I'm still figuring it out for myself. Having rich friends who can cook is certainly a good start.
